The Razor phone was the most popular cell phone available when it was first introduced a few years ago. Although it is no longer the most popular cell phone in the world it is still a very capable phone and it looks great as well. Some changes and updates have been made since the first generation of the Razor phone. Below I will outline some of the advantages of owning a Razor phone.

 

If you are the type of person that always needs to have the very latest technology then you are not going to want a Razor phone. It really can’t compete with the very high tech smart phones of today. But if you like the look of a slim minimalistic lightweight phone then the Razor phone is still one of the best options available today. This is most likely why these phones have lasted so long and still remained popular. They are also built by Motorola which is know worldwide for their attention to quality. Pretty much every cell phone service carrier supports the Motorola Razor phone as well.

 

Some of the features of the new Razor phone are great to have. The Razor V3i is totally loaded with features. It also has a great thin sculpted metal design. The V3i is an update of the V3. This model incorporates a streamlined design with a large color internal screen and bluetooth wireless technology. It also comes with a 1.23 megapixel camera that has a full screen viewfinder, zoom, and the ability to capture and playback video. When you add the greatest music software which would of course be iTunes music software you now have a very nice multimedia ready phone even by today’s standards. So basically you get a phone a video camera and an MP3 player all in one sleek great looking lightweight package.

 

Another great thing about the Razor phone is that you can find them for an inexpensive price as compared to other phones out there today. You can find them for as cheap as $109 brand new and there are tons of parts and used phones available on ebay as well. There are also a ton of accessories that the Razor has made for it through the years that you can find online.

 

Some of the specs are that the Razor has a 2.25 inch screen that is 176×220 pixels. It has a 1000 name phone book with picture caller ID. Basic features include a vibrate mode, text and multimedia messaging, a calculator, a date book, voice commands and dialing, a speaker phone, an alarm clock, and instant messaging. Higher-end offerings run the gamut from POP3 and IMAP4 e-mail support to full Bluetooth.

 

Working with the phone is pleasant overall and the browsing through the menu is fast. It takes a little longer when starting the camera or opening pictures, especially when it is a larger picture. For the price you will have a hard time finding a better and more stylish phone.

 

I have personally had a few different versions of the Razor phone through the years. All of them have been good phones with good call quality and they really hold a charge very well. I can usually go for 2 days before recharging my Razor phone. I may not always have a Razor phone but I would highly recommend trying one out especially at the prices that they are at right now.
